Remote desktop built for speed, control and privacy.
MyDeskViewer prefers encrypted direct device-to-device P2P whenever the network allows it, with secure relay fallback when a direct route is not available. You can also start a remote connection without creating an account by using the remote computer's Machine ID and access password. Accounts remain optional for saved devices and account-backed features.
Remote desktop built for technical users. Not oversimplified.
MyDeskViewer is being created for everyday remote desktop access, but also for administrators, developers, IT specialists and experienced computer users. We do not want to hide useful functionality just to make every screen look simpler. Windows remains the primary platform, while Android, Linux and macOS are already part of the MyDeskViewer remote access ecosystem.
More control
Technical information and advanced functions can remain visible when they are useful. The application is designed to give experienced users control, not take it away.
Remote desktop across multiple platforms
Windows is currently the main development platform for MyDeskViewer, while remote access is also available for Android, Linux and macOS devices. Support for additional systems and device types will continue to grow with the project.
Built with users
MyDeskViewer is still evolving. Feedback from real users will directly influence priorities, workflow improvements and future functionality.
Use it. Tell us what should be better.
MyDeskViewer is available now and continues to evolve. Feedback from real-world use helps guide reliability, workflow improvements and future functionality.
Help build it and keep PRO for life.
All seven founding testers receive access to PRO functionality while participating. Five of the most active testers will receive a lifetime MyDeskViewer PRO license.
Write one sentence. In any language.
MyDeskViewer includes a quick feedback option directly in the application. If something does not work, feels inconvenient or you simply have an idea, type a short message and send it.
No formal bug report. No technical description required. No English required.
Development first. Pricing later.
MyDeskViewer may become a paid product in the future, but monetization is not the priority at this stage. Right now the goal is to make the application stable, useful and worth paying for.
Features before plans
The first priority is building a useful product and improving the technology behind it.
Competitive pricing
If paid plans are introduced, the goal is to keep pricing competitive and reasonable for individual users and small teams.
Founding users matter
Early testers are helping create the product before commercial plans even exist, and we want that contribution to remain valuable.
Download it. Use it. Tell us what should be better.
MyDeskViewer is actively developed remote desktop and device management software. Feedback remains welcome and helps prioritize reliability, workflow improvements and future features.
More about this page
MyDeskViewer is designed to stay simple for everyday remote access while still handling the technical details that matter in real work. It combines screen viewing, connection management and project-driven improvements in one place.
MyDeskViewer is being built as a practical remote desktop and device management tool. The main focus is reliable connections, saved devices, clear permissions and an interface that stays usable in everyday work.
The project currently targets Windows first, while Android, Linux, macOS and FreeBSD support continue to grow. The website is meant to explain not only what already works, but also what is being tested and improved right now.
If you want a fuller picture, combine this page with the blog and the change log. Those sections explain why certain functions exist, how platform differences affect implementation and what direction the product is taking next.
